Hugh Marcy is CEO and co-founder of 2050NOW. He has worked globally on building capacity for education and training, health, recycling, product development and infrastructure. He specialises in start-ups and emerging markets and has managed extensive training programs in such diverse countries as The Philippines, Nigeria, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Afghanistan, Australia, Egypt, Colombia, Mongolia and Canada. He also led the team that designed and outfitted training academies in Egypt and Indonesia. He is a graduate of the United States Naval Academy, majoring in International Relations and Georgia Institute of Technology, where he obtained a Masters of Civil Engineering. He is a registered professional engineer. He is an active recruiter for the Naval Academy and a life member of the USNA Alumni Association.
Rob Bell is a Director and co-founder of 2050NOW. He has worked in global markets for many years as manager, consultant and board member in marketing and logistics across several industries; is a frequent Conference speaker and specialises in emerging and frontier markets. Rob’s experience in these challenging environments inspired the Transformational Logistics Blog. He speaks fluent French and Spanish. Educated at St. Andrew's and Oxford Universities; he is a Fellow at Durham University Business School, Reader at Aberdeen Business School, Business Professor at Grimsby Institute and a member of the Alumni Group at Nuffield College, Oxford. He is a published poet and founder of The History Troupe.
